Download OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 Build 12F36 [for Mac Developers]

Mac developers have been seeded the next update to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 known under the build name 12F36. This is just another upgrade with minor changes and the same task. Devs should focus on particular fields during the testing period and Apple should fix any problems and issues discovered and reported by them.

It’s been a while since we got the previous seed named 12F30. OS X devs saw it about a month ago. It is interesting that some people actually were able to download a pre-launch build called 12F35 with some changes which made users hope that Apple presents the 12F36 version a week ago.

It’s hard to hope for anything with iOS giant. The Cupertino-based company likes to add changes, change plans and catch users by surprise. You should agree that it’s not so cool when something happens according to a particular schedule and no news is possible.

The pre-release, as rumors state, came with an enhanced Xsan reliability and other changes. For example, it is believed to solve a problem that didn’t let Mail display messages. It has also improved AFP file transfer work over Wi-Fi and solved the bug that caused problems with automatic screen saver work.

The latest build 12F36 for OS X 10.8.5 has no known problems. We don’t know which improvements it shows to developers as no one has reported the changes yet. Mac maker asked its testers to see how Graphics, PDF function, Wi-Fi and some other options perform.

Registered Mac developers are welcome to upgrade through Software Update option in the Mac App Store. They can also log in into Mac Dev Center’saccount and download OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 latest release from there.

By the way, Apple has presented a new Safari 6.1 beta to developers so more things are available for testing.
