Download OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 [Build 12F30]

Mac devs are offered another version of operating system X Mountain Lion v.10.8.5. This beta has build number 12F30. Just as all previous OS beta releases, this one has no known issues, and developers are asked to focus on particular fields while testing it on their Mac machines.

It is easy to update, but unlike iOS 7 beta this one is not available through manual update to ordinary users. Mac developers can just sign in using Apple ID to their Dev Center account and grab the fresh version of the desktop firmware.

Mountain Lion fans who take part in Apple testing program and carefully look into each beta build presented by the Cupertino-based tech company will hear no news. They are asked to see how Wi-Fi works in beta 12F30. They are also prompted to take a closer look at graphics, mobile device management, and other options, including Wake from Sleep and PDF viewing.

Can’t wait to start testing? Here is the direct link to where you are able to download Mountain Lion 10.8.5. By the way, this is the seventh update available for testers since the first one released on June 19.

The update to 10.8.5 version of OS X Mountain Lion is not the only project Apple is working on right now. The company keeps on updated its beta builds of the new iOS 7 for mobile devices and works on its next Mac operating system Mavericks 10.9. It is delivering new builds to Mac and iOS developers regularly, every two weeks or so.

We will see some public released this fall. Summer is just testing time when professionals can get prepared and create new apps and games for the upcoming OS versions for fruit desktop and mobile gadgets.
