New Mountain Lion 10.8.3 Beta [Build 12D74] Release

Mac developers are welcome to follow the new Mountain Lion 10.8.3 beta download link to get the latest version of this operating system on their machines. Apple continues to roll out new OS X 10.8.3 beta versions to offer them for testing by professionals whose work is closely related with the company’s products.

We still don’t know the exact OS X 10.8.3 release date and we have no idea when the final beta of this OS is to be presented. Right now the Cupertino-based company presents build 12D74 that has no known issues just like its previous versions.

About OS X 10.8.3 Beta 11

Just like with previous releases Mac developers are prompted to pay attention to Safari, Game Center, AirPlay, Graphics Drivers and Airport. This is not surprising as all beta presentations come with the same focus areas, including iPhone and iPad firmware and not just Mountain Lion 10.8.3.

The first release of Mountain Lion 10.8.3 beta appeared in November 2012. The final version of this operating system hasn’t been developed yet. Hopefully the 11th beta build 12D74 will soon be followed by the final version. The previous 10th release showed a detection bug that led to a lot of OS X applications crash each time users entered “F:///” into the text window.

10.9 to Surface Soon?

There are reports that say the next release of OS X 10.9 is being run on Macs. This makes us believe that the final public Mountain Lion 10.8.3 download link will soon be available to all Mac owners.

But for now you can only use your Mac dev account to download OS X 10.8.3 beta 12D74 and test it for various apps. If you don’t have such account, you are unable to get and test the operating system. You can simply wait till it becomes public.
